Overview
Cued researches and builds local-first systems that make personal context useful to AI agents. This policy explains what information Cued accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Cued is designed around local storage and user control. The desktop app stores synced message and contact data on your device unless a specific product feature clearly requires a separate service.
Information Cued accesses
When you connect Gmail, Cued requests read-only access to Gmail using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly scope. This lets Cued read Gmail messages, threads, labels, headers, sender and recipient information, timestamps, and message bodies so it can build your local relationship context.
Cued may also process account profile information such as your email address and mailbox metadata so it can identify the connected account and resume syncs.
How Cued uses Google user data
Cued uses Gmail data to sync your email history into your local Cued datastore, deduplicate conversations and contacts, support search, and surface relationship context to you.
Cued does not use Google user data for advertising. Cued does not sell Google user data. Cued does not allow humans to read your Gmail data unless you explicitly ask for support that requires it.
Storage and sharing
Gmail OAuth tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain. Synced Gmail content is stored locally in the Cued database on your device.
Cued does not share Gmail message content with third parties except when required to operate a feature you choose, comply with law, prevent abuse, or protect the service and users.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect Gmail from Cued to stop future access. You can also delete local Cued data from your device by removing the local Cued datastore.
If you want help deleting data or revoking access, contact support@cued.so.
